Accommodation:
YOU need to book your own accommodation. COST will reimburse expenses according to the budget agreed by the MC (A list of participants for which the travel+hotel costs will be reimbursed has been approved by the MC. Contact Raphael Hirschi if you have any question about funding. The hotel budget in the approved WBP is Euro 80 per night per person, which is roughly £70).
Keele is a village, next to the town of Newcastle-under-Lyme, which is next to the city of Stoke-on-Trent. Public buses regularly connect Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Keele campus. Here is a list of recommended hotels. Please book your room yourself following the website links below.
Travel:
Newcastle-under-Lyme (not to be confused with Newscatle-upon-Tyne!) is a town, which is situated between Keele village/campus and the city of Stoke-on-Trent. There is a bus stop in the middle of Newcastle within walking distance from most hotels. There are very frequent buses between Newcastle and Keele campus. You need to take bus number 3 at stand number 12 (alternative is no 85). See full info here:

The most convenient airport is Manchester (with many connections within Europe). Birmingham is a reasonable alternative airport and it has a train station as well. Liverpool airport is also an alternative with possible buses+train connections via Crewe]

You can buy a ticket at the station or online at:
http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
From the airport the best is to buy a ticket and go to Stoke-on-Trent train station. From there you can take a taxi for about £10 or take a bus (e.g. no 3 to Newcastle/Keele) [Crewe train station is an alternative option with bus no 85 going from Crewe to Keele/Newcastle]. More bus options here:
