Answering the open questions on the evolution of the Universe requires a step up in global scientific cooperation, according to experts meeting in Lisbon, Barcelona, 17 September 2021

The ChETEC COST Action organised its final meeting in Lisboa+online Sept. 8-10
This is our main event in Period 4, which will cover all the aspects of our Action and review all the achievements of the Action during the first three periods as well as plan period 4 and the future beyond the end of the Action.
The German astronomy society “Astronomische Gesellschaft” awarded this year’s Karl Schwarzschild prize to Friedrich-Karl Thielemann.

Short Term Scientific Missions (STSM) up and running

The ChETEC COST Action year 1 main workshop took place at Keele University on October 9-11. The meeting was attended by 60-70 participants (40% female and 29% ITCs) coming from more than 20 countries who joined the ChETEC Action. The meeting was very successful. More than 20 cross-disciplinary teams/projects were established during the discussions and planning of the 4 years of the ChETEC Action.
