Stellar Hydrodynamics, Evolution and Nucleosynthesis Group @ Keele

Welcome to the web portal of the SHEN team in the Keele astrophysics group

Stellar Hydrodynamics

Hydrodynamic processes in the stellar interior that are important in terms of mixing for the production of the elements.

Stellar Evolution

Stellar evolution of both low- and intermediate mass stars and massive stars, the latter including rotation. We are working towards a consistent simulations of stars of any mass, including non-standard physics.

Nucleosynthesis

Highly resolved nucleosynthesis simulations in a wide variety of environments.

Structure and chemical evolution inside massive stars:

In this directory, you can find a few animations giving insights on what is happening inside a massive star.
