Comments: After beginning observations, the target PSF started increasing, and so reduced
exposure time to 80.0s and then 70.0s. After setting up the WASP-19 observations, the counts
started increasing above 400k, though in some images they dropped to 250k. We assume that obs.
were set up with thin cloud, and as the clouds appear to be clearing the target is getting
brighter. Just before egress, the counts began to drop significantly due to clouds.

Comments: Just after starting the Transit observations, we started to experience the same issues
with the Linux 1 computer as we did last year, in that it would log the user out and kick any
VNC connection (this first happened after Jeremy had already disconnected and closed his VPN
connection). When this happens, the ds9 window for the latest image no longer works, and the
obs need to be stopped and restarted. In addition rebooting the computer to restart the VNC
connection, KILLS ANY AND ALL EXPOSURES BEING TAKEN BY THE ARS. This requires setting up the
exposures again, which is made harder by regular log outs.

Comments: When I prepared the transit, I needed the finder chart for the windowing, so I
clicked on the name "HIP65" in the table of the targets and got the message "You probably
mistyped URL". Therefore I decided to use the CCD window established in the observation of the
same target on 9/15. In the end I found out that this earlier CCD window was much too small
and did not include one of the calibration stars, but then it was too late. Timing check: The
shutter opened for image ..._000101 at 04:08:36 and for image ..._000102 at 04:09:29.

Window: full frame due to telescope problems
Comments: Telescope twice stopped tracking and the field was lost, so had to be recentred.
Had to use REV mode for WASP 5 tests because too close to pointing restrictions. Also the
coordinates seemed wrong, so had to use manual shift to get all the C stars on the frame.
However after first defocused 100s exposure in rev mode the pointing seemed to have reset by
itself and neither the target nor the C stars appeared to be on the frame. So I reset the
pointing, switched to main mode and tried again. Still the coordinates seemed to be off, so I
ended up starting the sequence with only C2 and C3 in the frame, to be able to start before
ingress (which I think/hope I managed to do, barely), then manually shifted during read out
time to include C1 as well later on. Around 4:30UT lost telescope tracking every 5-10 min:
after resetting the telescope everything worked.

Need to observe east of the pier (Main mode)
