Conference poster

Full-size format (300 dpi)
Reduced format (96 dpi)
The background image in the poster shows the Large Magellanic Cloud. It is a combination of images covering wavelengths from optical to radio. In purple through to blue, MCELS H-alpha, S[II] and O[II] optical line emission data are shown. Yellow-green colours show Spitzer/IRAC and MIPS imaging from the SAGE Legacy Team at 3.6, 5.8 and 24 microns. Orange-yellow colours show older IRAS data at 12, 25, 60 and 100 microns; and red shows the ATNF/ATCA 21cm H I map. The ship design is modelled on the carrack Victoria. Led by Magellan until his death, this was the first ship to circumnavigate the world.
