Iain McDonald

Iain McDonald graduated in 2009, on "Stellar mass loss in Galactic globular clusters". Iain observed in Chile, with the ESO-VLT and the ESO 3.6m telescope, and in Australia, with the ATCA radio interferometer. He led a programme executed at the Liverpool Telescope (on La Palma), and at Keele Observatory. His research made use of new Spitzer Space Telescope data, as well as data obtained with the 8m Gemini Telescope. His travels (for work) further brought him to Hamburg, Minnesota, Portugal and Heidelberg. Besides contributions to many other papers, his most significant work has been published in McDonald & van Loon (2007) and McDonald et al. (2009). Iain is now a postdoctoral research assistant in Manchester.
