Welcome to my homepage!

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; German Aerospace Center), working in the Extrasolar Planets and Atmospheres Group of the Institut für Planetenforschung (Institute for Planetary Research) in Berlin-Adlershof.

Previously (2012 - 2015) I worked at The Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Centre (Centrum Astronomiczne im. Mikolaja Kopernika, CAMK, part of the Polish Academy of Sciences), in Warsaw, Poland. Before that (2009 - 2012), I was a research associate at Keele University, where I was a member of the Astrophysics Group.

I studied for my Ph.D. (2005 to 2009) at the University of St Andrews, where I was a member of the Astronomy group, which is part of the School of Physics and Astronomy. Before starting my Ph.D., I read Physics at Grey College, where I gained an M.Sci. from the University of Durham.

My research interests are in the field of extra-solar planets. I am particularly interested in the transit method as a means of detecting and characterising extra-solar planets and their atmospheres. See my Research page for more information, where you can also find my CV. A list of my publications and of conferences I have attended can be found in the Publications section.
