Joint Discussion held during the IAU XXVI-th General Assembly on
August 21, 2006 in Prague

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in a joint discussion (JD)
focused on how the identification and recovery of pre-solar grains in
meteorites has influenced our understanding of stellar structure
and nucleosynthesis. The JD takes place during the IAU XXVI General
Assembly,  on Monday 21 (full day) August 2006.

FORMAT:
The Joint Discussion will include:
1.  Invited review talks (25 min + 5 min discussion)
2.  Contributing talks (15 min + 5 min discussion)
3.  Posters
Contributing talks will be selected from the submitted abstracts.

DEADLINES:
Early registration: May 31, 2006
Abstract Submission: June 26, 2006
XXVIth GA IAU: August 14-25, 2006, the JD11 is on August 21.

VENUE:
The IAU XXVI General Assembly will be in Prague, one of the most
beautiful cities in Europe. Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler worked
here in the beginning of the 17th. century after Tycho Brahe had been
expelled from Denmark, and the tomb of Brahe can still be visited in
the Teyn  church which is located in the center of Prague.
